Emergency Preparedness
What is the mission of emergency preparedness according to FEMA?
The National Preparedness Goal describes five mission areas - prevention, protections, mitigation, response and recovery - and 32 activities, called core capabilities, that address the greatest risks to the Nation.
Lincoln City focuses on risks including but not limited to earthquakes, tsunamis, wildfires, drought and by necessity pandemics. Lincoln City also has a Draft Evacuation Plan.
The City of Lincoln City uses Everbridge for emergency notifications. Lincoln County also uses this system. Please visit the Everbridge website to access Lincoln County Citizen Alert and to sign up to receive Emergency Notifications.
